Cozy Vintage Friendly Neighborhood Home

Meg was a great host. Very responsive throughout the entire process, from beginning to the end. She recently updated the internet connection, very fast, and helped get us connected. The house is an older model but very well maintained and presented. All furnishings were comfortable.
There the whole month of Jan 2025. No car but some visitors did and they managed to park their vehicles in either the designated driveway or on the street. 28th ave. is a busy street at certain times of the day. The house is located in prime territory: 5-6 great food carts with indoor dining are 3-minute walk, the Friendly Market are 3-minute walk, Market of Choice is a 12-minute walk, and 4 great bakeries are 1.9 miles. Hope to return.

Although the cottage suited our needs for a 6 week stay, we were disappointed by several issues. Parking was tight, awkward, and difficult in a narrow space between 2 other vehichles. The internet was slow. The living area lacked privacy given it is on the driveway with other tenants walking by. The washer has a strong mildew/most odour. Lastly, the fold out sofa was uncomfortable.

Meg is a truly an exceptional host. She is responsive, kind, caring and completely on top of her game. She knows Eugene really well and had tons of recommendations for me. The house I rented had everything I could possibly need and Meg's personal touches exceeded my expectations. I had no issues with the house, but if I did, I know Meg would be responding immediately. She always had a contact person for me to call if she was traveling and she puts a very high premium on service to tenants. I highly recommend anyone to rent a home from Meg. You will not regret it.

I couldn't be happier with my time spent at Meg's Cozy Cottage. This is a clean, comfortable space in an unbeatable location. Best of all, Meg is a great person that genuinely cares about her residents. Honestly, I wish I could've stayed longer. I'd be excited to stay here again in the future.
