Quiet, bright 1 bedroom in the Brentwood hills

Colette and her family's guest home is a wonderful, clean, and very functional space in a lovely neighborhood in LA. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe and very walkable. The guest apartment is clean and comfortable and equipped with all the amenities for a great place to relax after exploring LA. But by far the best part of the rental was Colette herself and her family. They were so welcoming and their hospitality towards our family went far above and beyond our expectations. We visit family in LA often and will hope to rent from Colette on all of our future trips.

My experience here was exceptional. Colette is not only a fantastic person but also incredibly helpful and kind. I adored the cats and felt welcomed by the entire family. Every detail of this place contributes to its charm. Highly recommended!

I stayed in Colette and Robert's apartment for 6 months while visiting UCLA. The apartment is very bright, clean and equipped with any kitchen appliances. Colette and Robert live next door and they are extremely responsive and always available. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe in general. Nice hikes are walking distance from the apartment. The apartment is also very close to UCLA (the closest bus stop is 1mile down Kenter, takes approximately 15 minutes to get to campus). Other famous neighborhoods (e.g. Santa Monica, Sawtelle) are also relatively close. I would definitely recommend staying at their apartment if you are looking for a quiet, beautiful neighborhood surrounded by nature!

We had an amazing time at Colette's and Robert's apartment. It was our first time in California, and they made our life easier in every way possible. They were always responsive and very helpful, giving us information and guidance in LA.

The place is fully equipped. We stayed there, me, my wife, and my daughter, for two weeks, and we never felt there was anything missing. Even laundry was taken care of.
The neighborhood is very calm and nice. There is a palyground for kids less than 10 min walking. Our daughter also had a great time playing in Colette and Robert's house's backyard.

Also, it was very easy to go to UCLA from there place with public transportation.

I would definitely recommend renting Colette's host apartment when visiting LA.

We stayed at Colette`s and Robert`s for two weeks this summer. The experience could not have been more positive. The apartment is situated in a very quiet and pretty neighbourhood. It is perfectly located within a 15 minute drive to the Getty, UCLA and the beach. It is also a great area to go for a hike in the evening with the closest canyon being 7 minutes uphill. The apartment is fully equipped and well-kept with new utilities.
Colette and Robert are excellent hosts: open and welcoming, very responsive. We would definitely rent the apartment again without hesitation!

I stayed in the apartment of Coltette for almost two months while visiting UCLA. Colette and her husband Robert were super nice and helpful, apartment was great and has everything I needed. Biking to UCLA takes about half an hour, you can use backstreets so you don't have to go on Sunset Blvd which is kind of dangerous on a bicycle.
I really enjoyed my stay, very much recommended. there are few restaurants or bars, for that you need to go to Santa Monica and the beaches, but if you are looking for a quite and convenient neighborhood close to UCLA this is pretty awesome.
