Thames View Retreat in Oxford

As grandparents visiting our daughter, son-in-law and their two young children for extended periods of time, everything about this rental was perfect for our needs. Not only did it provide a comfortable and quiet get-away in the evening, the extra bed and bathroom also accommodated occasional extra guests. We didn't cook many full meals, though the kitchen is fully stocked. All the highlights of iconic Oxford are walkable (footpaths along the Thames, narrow boat tow paths, local restaurants, museums). The main train routes pass by the east side of the apartment complex but were barely audible and not a problem at all. Leigh and Steve were responsive hosts and quickly responded to any question or problem that arose.

Leigh and Steve were thoughtful and responsive landlords during my stay at their home at Venneit Close in Oxford. This is an interesting little area between the Thames and its beautiful port meadow and the lively Jericho neighborhood. Access to the town by bicycle was for me a little difficult because of construction at the closest crossing, but this should be finished now or soon, and in any case the area is quite well located. The flat was nicely furnished with a great, well equipped kitchen, and a study that doubled as a second bedroom for visitors with a hideaway bed. Overall my stay was delightful, and I would recommend this flat to anyone

I stayed at Leigh and Steve's home for a month and had a great stay. Their place was a brilliant base for exploring Oxford and they were wonderful hosts, answering any questions I had throughout my stay. I'd highly recommend their place for anyone looking for a home-from-home in the city.
