Sunny, Serene, Newly Renovated Garden Flat, Close to UC Berkeley

I can only recommend this place! It is a beautiful one-bedroom flat, ideal for a single person or a couple. It is wonderfully clean. The whole flat is a high quality built which is nicely designed. The kitchen is pretty well-equipped, the bathroom is nice, the bed and the couch are comfortable. There is a large terrace surrounded by fruit trees, lemon, oranges, figs, all grow in the garden. It is in a nice and safe neighbourhood, fairly close to Campus and to downtown. The landlord is very attentive, helpful and fast responding. He and his wife really want you to feel at home. A wonderful experience!

This is a beautiful, clean, well-equipped, space-efficient, recently renovated apartment. My partner and I lived here for one year and had a great time. The owners are very communicative and accommodating landlords. They are courteous and give you your space but also are very nice to talk with. The nice sliding doors and under-floor storage area create plenty of storage space. The kitchen is compact but works well for less elaborate meals. The neighborhood is great for walking, too. Campus is close although the hill's pretty steep, as the listing mentions, so it's easiest to e-bike or drive (~10 mins) or walk (~30 mins). And the garden is beautiful with lots of fruit trees!

I stayed in this apartment for 4 months while working at UC-Berkeley. If you love nature, this is the place for you. It has great views, and there are many beautiful walks around. I went hiking every weekend to a different trail, all closeby. The neighborhood is very calm and beautiful. You would enjoy walking around.
The place itself is brand new and very clean. It gets a lot of sun and the apartment has everything a person would need for short stay. Ron and his wife are very helpful and considerate, I don't think I could have found a better landlord.

The location & commute to Berkeley were great for me. It would take me 15-20 minutes going by bus, door to door. Many days I preferred to walk, which took about 30-35 minutes. Highly recommend!
