Home away from home guest room available February 25! One month minimum booking, $1450 for one person, $1750 for a couple. Comfy, sunny, fully furnished, all linens provided, full use of house and garden. Very close (one block) to North Berkeley BART and busses; close to shops and restaurants; approx 1.6 miles to Cal Berkeley and downtown. Well-suited to visiting scholars, people in transition, traveling workers, or anyone seeking a comfortable shorter-term stay in Berkeley. Rent includes all utilities, professional cleaning, fast internet, and household supplies. Casual atmosphere, two congenial permanent residents ages 40 and 77, one sweet cat, sometimes one other guest, large landscaped garden. Usually one month minimum booking, maximum negotiable, but not seeking a long-term guest. Please drop a note if you're interested and tell us about yourself! There is a $150 refundable security deposit, and a $40 one-time cleaning fee. A rent deposit will be due on booking.
