Quiet and central Home in the middle of historic Venice.

Christian's apartment was perfect for my research trip in Venice. Everything about the home was just as described in the listing and in the photos. The convenience of nearby grocery stores, restaurants, and vaporetto stops added to the absolutely wonderful experience I had in this apartment. I hope to stay here again during my next trip to Venice!

Christian is a model host: courteous, communicative, consistent, fair. His tasteful flat on the Giudecca, practically appointed and homey, overlooks a large, lovely garden and enjoys a charming view across the Giudecca Canal. My wife and I were delighted to be so comfortably accommodated in such a quiet neighborhood, off the beaten track yet conveniently connected with the rest of Venice from the nearby Redentore traghetto stop. We have stayed in many apartments in the city over the years. This one was particularly pleasant; we recommend it highly.

Christian's apartment in Giudecca is wonderful. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and more. I had never stayed on Giudecca previously but would definitely do so again - it's always nice to avoid the chaos of the main island.

Most of all, Christian was extremely attentive and responsive to any questions we had, often responding within minutes.

We'd definitely return in future - highly recommend!

Thanks again for the stay in the wonderful appartment: A very nice, cosy and comfortable home at Giudecca. Easy to feel at home, cook yourself, and in a few minutes by boat directly in the old city or the Biennial. This combination is perfect. With Christian being a very nice and caring host, it would be a real pleasure to return here. Been to Venice several times and never stayed at a place like this. A pleasure!

The apartment is optimally located on the island of Giudecca, which is both very close to many attractions (Piazza San Marco, for instance) and away from the main island, thus avoiding the rush hours of tourists.

It is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. From the balcony, there is a view of the sea. It is also calm and quiet, even though there are plenty of terraces with bars and restaurants just around the corner.

Christian was very communicative and friendly from the very beginning. He was also very helpful with suggestions on restaurants, places to visit, services, etc. I would definitely recommend this place (and plan to return soon!)
