Spanish turn-of-century design with original tile floors, local artwork, and a modern-meets-antique sensibility in furnishings. For one or two people who love being in the middle of it all but equally value a beautiful space to retreat to. This is a two bedroom we're using as a one bedroom: it's spacious for two people. Location Directly facing the Arc de Triomf. El Born is a 3-minute walk. Three metro lines (L1, L4, L5) within 1–6 minutes on foot. Rodalies Renfe on the same block for day trips to the coast. Restaurants, bars, bakeries, groceries, museums, and parks are immediately outside. The space Three main rooms — a formal dining room (doubles as a second workspace), a study with sofa, external monitor, and electric sit/stand desk, and a spacious bedroom, each with its own balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked for serious cooking: world spices, cast iron, Instant Pot, the works, or to prepare a simple cheese board. Super King bed (180×200cm), memory foam, quite new. Large lounger sofa that expands to full size bed (120x200cm). 8-person dining table. Extensive library. Quality linens throughout. Included - Two air conditioning units (one dedicated to the bedroom) - High-speed wifi - Weekly cleaning (no laundry service) - New high-end washing machine in the flat; has drying function if you're in a rush - Exercise gear: adjustable dumbbells (2.5–25kg), yoga mats, resistance bands, bolster, Theragun - Coffee/Tea corner: Chemex, French press, Moka pot, electric kettle with temperature control - Full kitchen (oven, range, fridge, Instant Pot, cast iron — no microwave) - Electric sit/stand desk with external monitor - Building attendant on weekdays, elevator, double-glazed windows - Accessibility: Has elevator, but 8 wide stairs at the building entrance with railing to arrive to it Dogs welcome Bowls and a washable mat provided. Just let us know they're coming — how many, and a bit about them. Good to know This is our full-time home, available for longer stays in summer. There are personal effects around — we trust you'll be respectful of the space. Not suitable for children (sensitive items throughout), parties, or smoking. It's a close-knit building and neighbors notice.
