Calm, full of light, 3 bedroom apartment close to The Retiro Park

I rented Carmen's Madrid apartment for 2 weeks in May 2025. I found the location to be ideal -- roughly 2 blocks to an upmarket grocery and a wine shop owned by a woman who was formerly a rep in the US for Spanish wines. Notable is the apartment's proximity to Retiro Park, a peaceful large green space for a break from urban density, and the fact that it's adjacent to but not right in the touristy historic district.

The apartment itself was super clean, quiet, bright, and comfortable. Great bed, great shower, nice kitchen.

Lastly, Carmen is the ideal host: responsive, responsible, kind, easy to work with. She has local helpers who are on call for any need. I recommend Carmen and her apartment highly!

Carmen's place was spacious and beautiful; the apartment had everything we needed to make ourselves at home for several weeks (I travelled with 1 young child) and the location made it easy to get around for local and regional trips (a few blocks to many buses + subway; easy bus ride to Atocha). The location is very residential- safe and quiet.

My family and I had a beautiful time in the apartment, located in quiet residential neighborhood very close to El Retiro Park and with easy access to public transportation. The apartment is airy, full of light, well furnished and equipped. The communication with Carmen was flawless and with the support system as well. Thanks very much for allowing us to enjoy it.

My husband, daughter and I spent a wonderful week in this lovely home, centrally located in Madrid near the Salamanca neighborhood, with easy access (via taxi, metro, bus, or walking) to the major attractions. This spotless, spacious apartment is filled with light and everything you need for your stay, including a well-equipped kitchen. It's located just a few minutes from the huge Retiro Park, perfect for running, strolling or relaxing. We enjoyed coming home to this calm, tranquil space after a day out in the city. The communication process with the host and the local contact was smooth and we felt very welcomed. I highly recommended this accommation for your stay in Madrid.

This apartment is beautiful, well-appointed and tranquil. It is in an upmarket area, near shops, Retiro park and is central to many areas of interest - academic and otherwise - in Madrid. The owner communicated with us clearly and promptly, provided recommendations to local cafes etc and the home was beautifully furnished and equipped. We we loved staying here.
