Bright, spacious 2-room apartment, in the inner city

I am offering my bright, spacious and simply furnished 2-bedroom apartment (51,5qm/ 554 squarefeet) with a small kitchen and bath – ideal for 1 person or a couple (max.). It has many typical features of 19th century Berlin buildings such as wooden floors and cassette doors. The apartment is situated on the first floor in the second backyard (typical for Berlin housing style), as such there is no street noise, and it is calm, but surprisingly light. The newly renovated apartment is simply but comfortably furnished. The bed-room has a double bed (140 cm), the living room has a huge sofa and a table with 4 chairs. The kitchen has a simple stove, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, think and is stuffed with all necessary kitchen utilities (no microwave). The bathroom has a shower. There is an extra small room for storage with a washing machine (no dryer). Throughout the apartment there are furniture to store and hang things, and there are mirrors and curtains. The apartment has kept its old charm, as such it not perfect or representative (backyard-building), but cosy and bright. I love simplicity and a clear space. It is my working space when I am in Berlin and there will be a few things left by me (mostly in the storage cupboard, but also some books and pictures). The rent includes central heating, hot water, electricity and WiFi/internet (no cable TV). And I appreciate if guests use heating and electriticy with caution in order to help saving our planet. The apartment is in a great location. The house with its typical Berlin building structures of yards and houses stagged behind each other is on a bigger street, but as it is in the 3rd building removed from it, you are here in a calm space to work and study. Simultaneously you are right in the middle of Schöneberg, one of the most amazing districts in Berlin, in not even five minutes walking distance you reach the so called “Akazienkiez” or “Golzkiez”, where you find an abundance of café, restaurants, small stores, places to take Yoga classes etc. The apartment is also close to public transportation, 2 min. walking distance. You can reach the famous Ku’damm and city center west in 10 minutes by bus or the U7 will give you access to almost everywhere. The apartment is in the middle of all three big universities. I only rent out to non-smokers ( I am also using it for about 4-6 month a year), no pets, and only suitable for 1-2 persons! You need to cross the living-room to get to the bedroom, so this is not a place to share, except you are a couple. It is important to me to offer a comfortable, friendly, and clean place to stay. So you need to leave the apartment in a clean and proper state! Alternatively, I will charge a cleaning fee between 80-150 Euro. AVAILABILITY/ MONTHLY RENT:- I rent it out during the Berlin university term, next time: From April 5, 2027 - July. 15, 2027 Monthly rental price is 1150 for 1 -2 people (max. no additional guest allowed, strictly rented out to non-smokers). If the apartment is not properly cleaned: cleaning charges between 80-150 € will be subtracted from your deposit.
