Our place is a Haussamanian-style apartment located in the center of Paris, in the heart of the Gambetta district, right next to a metro station. It's a very sunny apartment, located on the second floor of a lovely building with only twelve units. You can enjoy great views of the city life from this cozy home with marble fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom. The place can accommodate very easily four people but we prefer to have a couple or three. IF YOU'RE MORE THAN THREE, PLEASE SPECIFY AND REQUEST A QUOTE. Please be aware that we have a cat who is lovely. He just needs to be fed twice. That's all. The living room speaks of our travels and expatriate stays around the world and the kitchen has just been completely redone. It has all the appliances you need to cook. But if you don't want to cook, there a zillion places to shop for food just downstairs, from the exotic to the traditional French cuisine. The apartment is just two minutes from the Gambetta metro station. Several bus lines stop nearby. There's an electric bike rental station just below the building. The best part is the balcony form where you can enjoy watching Paris alive just under your feet. Located on the 2rd European floor (3rd floor US) of a classic Parisian building (please note: no elevator, two short flights of stairs), the studio is compact, clean, and thoughtfully maintained — ideal for a couple seeking to explore the best of Paris on foot. The Gambetta district is popular with people looking for authenticity. Line 3 of the metro is convenient for getting anywhere you want in Paris. Residents of this peaceful part of Paris have a wide choice of food shops, restaurants, organic stores, wine cellars, bakeries, florists, pharmacies and more. A fresh produce market is held just 300 meters from the house twice a week. About Us: We are a friendly French couple who have been exchanging homes for over two decades. We are respectful, clean, and very attentive to the care of others' homes, and expect the same in return.
