Unique architect-designed house in Dalston, Hackney

Welcome to our unique artist home, designed and built by our architect friend and neighbour, in a wonderful and lively part of London! Spread over four floors it is largely open plan accomodation, with 3 bedrooms (2 of which are communicating), spatious kitchen and living rooms, huge windows, a roof terrace and a lovely private garden. It is in the heart of London but is very peaceful and looks onto beautiful trees. the kitchen occupies the entire ground floor and opens onto the garden. The living room is vast on the 1st floor and has a large table for working, sofa, armchairs and a projector and retractable screen. The second floor has two bedrooms (one double and one single in a separate room). There is a bathtub and sink on the open-plan bedroom floor, with a private (lockable) toilet and shower, a second toilet + sink on the kitchen floor, as well as a washroom with sink and bidet in the top floor bedroom. The wood-panelled bedroom on the top floor opens onto its own spacious terrace. There is a laundry room / bicycle garage at the front of the house on the ground floor. We would expect payment of a small cleaning fee (£52.50 per week for 3 weekly hours minimum, plus again on departure, of course you can ask our cleaner to do more if wanted). We have a 5-year-old cat who comes with the house who is friendly but shy and low maintenance, though keeping him fed daily is a condition of staying in our unique London home. Also our house plants need watering, and so does our garden so that we all may continue to enjoy it!
