We are a retired couple in Madison who have refurbished most of this house after purchasing it in early 2024. We hope to provide a mid-term furnished rental to anyone needing a comfortable space to stay while working or visiting in the Madison area. Our house has a large, fully-fenced backyard and is ideal for tenants with dogs. Travel times to downtown, UW-Madison campus and all area hospitals range between 10-20 min by car (possibly longer on either of the bus routes that are within 1-3 blocks away.). Convenient to stores, restaurants/bars and recreational areas also. We try to provide the rental experience you need. All floors have been replaced or refinished, with the original wood floors in the living area and both bedrooms recently fully refinished. The entire kitchen was completely remodeled with a convenient and modern layout in 2024. The spaces are cozy but comfortable, with flexibility in use of the smaller second bedroom (twin futon provided, can also be used as an office or workspace.) Detached double garage along with driveway and street space provide plenty of parking and storage. Lawn maintenance and snow removal provided, along with all utilities, fast fiber internet and a smart TV for your use. Additional plentiful storage in the unfinished basement if needed. Can pro-rate weekly rent at $662.50/week after first 30 days as needed.
