We live in this beautiful home and only rent it because we are traveling. Previously hosted visiting UBC professors, graduates and faculty. The house is ideally suited for a maximum of 6–7 people. We only accept bookings from families and/or related couples, such as parents with their adult children, or a couple with children or 2 to 3 couples. We do not accept bookings from unrelated groups. A charming, fully furnished, can also be Semi or fully Unfurnished, Sleeping arrangements The house has three bedrooms: Two bedrooms each have one double bed The third bedroom has one twin bed. Extra beds can be added Guests should be comfortable sharing beds (two guests per bed). If booking for 7 guests, three guests will be sharing one bedroom. The home You will have 2.5 stories entirely to yourself. The house is eclectically decorated and full of character, featuring heritage details such as: High and coffered ceilings in most rooms An exposed brick chimney wall A wood-burning fireplace Main floor The main floor includes: A large living room A craftsman-style dining room A fully stocked, renovated kitchen A powder room The kitchen opens onto a beautiful deck overlooking our backyard. Please note: deck furniture and the BBQ are available May through September only, as the deck is uncovered. Second floor The second floor features: A primary bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite bathroom A second bedroom with a double bed A third bedroom with a single bed. A second, newly updated and charming full bathroom Important notes The attic ( used for storage) and the ground level of the house is fully independent from the main home upstairs and we keep it for our own personal use when visiting the city.
