Welcome to your treehouse in the city! The home is centrally located in bustling Highland Park, but has a cabin-like feel. It's surrounded by shade trees (making it regularly 10 degrees cooler than elsewhere in the city) and a succulent garden. The light-filled space features French doors in all rooms, seamlessly bringing the outside in, including a front patio and back deck that looks on to the San Gabriel Mountains. The open living area incorporates a loft office space/ spare room. Each bedroom offers lofted, beamed raw wood ceilings, amplifying the sense of serenity. Decorated with peace and comfort in mind, the home features original artwork, mid-century furnishings, and an uncluttered, airy feel. This is our home during the academic year and is set up as an oasis in the city (no generic rental decor here). House-trained dogs are welcome with additional deposit, and there are dog parks and dog-friendly hikes nearby.

Comments: The home is nestled in the trees in the hills of Highland Park, walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, and nightlife, but with a secluded feel. It's a short drive to Pasadena, downtown, Echo Park, Silverlake, and surrounds. Also close to hikes in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Mountains.
