Over the past twenty years, our family has lovingly restored this classic home and now enjoy sharing it with others. Recently retired, we spend most of our time in Santa Fe, with the exception of summers and the winter holiday. (Who wants to miss a glorious Seattle summer?) Updates include a new kitchen, sunroom, and master suite. It's a great home for entertaining or retreating, depending on your mood and needs. The garden is a private oasis, with several patios perfect for dining, reading or an afternoon siesta. Raised-garden beds invite you to plant veggies or flowers, if desired. The house has quirks, of course, but nothing major. Off-street parking accommodates two cars. If mobility is an issue, please note that the house is elevated above the street and has many steps to the front porch. But parking is in back, where a long ramp connects the carport to the rear entrance of the house, all without steps. Once inside, the three bedrooms and two full baths are upstairs. The neighborhood is quiet and kid-friendly, and located between popular Ballard and Greenlake.

Comments: What, no TV? Sorry. But there is wifi and internet for streaming. There's also a large sunroom for crafts, painting and other activities. There is not a security system, but this is a very safe neighborhood.

Comments: Start and end dates are flexible, designed to accommodate quarter or semester schedules. The house will be available again from approximately Jan 1 - June 12, 2027. An unoccupied downstairs apartment could be made available for breaks .
