En-suite room in modern penthouse flat next to Clissold Park

I’m subletting my bright ensuite room for two months over the summer while I’m away on a research trip in Marseille. The flat is very well located, with easy access to universities across London, particularly around Bloomsbury, and just a 20 minute cycle from the British Library. The neighbourhood is a wonderful base, right next to Clissold Park and within walking distance of Newington Green, Stoke Newington, Highbury & Islington, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, libraries and pubs nearby. I’m always happy to share recommendations. The flat itself has lovely panoramic views across London, stretching from the London Eye to Alexandra Palace. The open plan living space gets excellent natural light throughout the day, and opens onto a south-facing balcony. The bedroom has two large windows, one south-east facing and one opening onto the balcony, so it stays light all day. It comes with an ensuite bathroom, two spacious wardrobes, and a desk, making it well suited for working from home. The flat is on the sixth (top) floor of the building, with a lift and secure entry system, so it feels quiet and safe. You’ll be sharing with my flatmate Jess, a 31-year-old professional from Scotland who works in pharmaceuticals. She mostly works from home in a separate office and often spends evenings at her partner’s nearby. The flat has a friendly, respectful and tidy atmosphere.
