We're renting out our family home in Berlin-Wedding while we're away for an extended period. It's a proper, lived-in apartment that works equally well for a family or for professionals who need real workspace. The heart of the apartment is the open-plan living and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped for daily cooking: good pots and pans, plenty of dishes, and an espresso machine with a separate grinder for those who take their morning coffee seriously. The dining area has space for the whole household, and the living room is comfortable and relaxed, with a sofa and a cozy armchair. From there, you step out onto the balcony, which gets sun almost all day long and is accessible from both the living room and the bedroom. It's the kind of balcony you actually use, for morning coffee, lunch outside, or just sitting at the end of the day. The apartment has two fully equipped home office setups. One has a sit-stand desk and a large external monitor, the other a regular desk and monitor. The study also doubles as a third bedroom with a double sofa bed, which gives the apartment flexibility for up to five people. We're happy to rethink the room setup if your situation calls for something different. The apartment is warm and comfortable in the way that a family home is, set up for real life. We'll make sure everything is clean and freshly prepared before you arrive, and we'll be reachable throughout the rental period if you need anything. Our next-door neighbors are also lovely and happy to help if something comes up. Both bathrooms are included, one with a shower and one with a large bathtub. The apartment also has a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, WiFi, and all utilities are included. Bed linen and towels are provided. The building has a lift and the apartment is step-free throughout. The building itself is quiet and well-maintained, with a friendly, family oriented atmosphere. Quiet hours are taken seriously here, which suits us well and which we ask guests to respect too. Wedding is one of Berlin's most diverse neighbourhoods, and one we're genuinely fond of. Excellent grocery stores and ethnic food options, parks, and a rich cultural scene are all right outside the door. S+U Wedding and U Leopoldplatz are a few minutes' walk away, putting Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Charlottenburg and the main train station within easy reach. We'd love to arrange a personal handover at the start and end of the rental period. We're looking for guests who'll treat the apartment the way we do, with care and consideration for the neighbours.
