Family-friendly house in quiet neighbourhood near top Canadian universities

We are a family looking to live abroad for a six-month sabbatical from Jan-June 2026. For rent or for exchange, we have a beautiful, large 4-bedroom house on a quiet, tree-lined street. Our house is located in Waterloo and close to several major, renowned universities such as University of Waterloo and the Perimeter Institute of Physics. There is regular train service to Toronto (about 1.5 hours), and we are also about 2 hours from Niagara Falls. Our house has a large dining room, living room, sunroom, study with wood-burning fireplace, four generous bedrooms, a primary bedroom with en suite bathroom, laundry room, 2-car garage (with bikes and scooters), an outdoor swimming pool (opens in May), trampoline, and large yard and garden. Our neighbourhood is renowned for its beauty and country-like setting with its tall trees, no street lights, large yards, and winding roads. We are near to a great toboggan hill and outdoor ice rink in the winter, and playgrounds. Grocery shops, a bakery, restaurants, and services are nearby (bike or drive). We love our home and hope to find a family who would like experience all Canada has to offer!
