Come and stay amongst the birds and trees, while watching the river go by. This lovely 1970s river house is situated on a large, waterfront block, with direct water access and a small private beach and jetty. The house has water views from nearly every room and is the perfect place to unwind. Watch the stars at night and sunrise in the morning, all from the comfort of your bed! Fully furnished 2-bedroom house with spacious living room, kitchen, and large deck with beautiful views over the river. The deck is the perfect place to relax with a tea or wine and bird lovers will enjoy the regular visits from the local king parrots, galahs, kookaburras, cockatoos, and lorikeets. Large Weber BBQ on the deck. The kitchen has a fridge, Breville coffee machine and stovetop coffee pot, kettle, toaster, and is stocked with all the essentials. You need to bring your grocery supplies with you (local shops at Berowra or Gosford) or you can buy the essentials at the local Dangar cafe or Brooklyn marina. The local cafe serves daily breakfast and lunch, and the local Bowling Club serves meals Thursday to Sunday. You’re welcome to take our kayaks out exploring or try your luck fishing from our jetty. We have three kayaks, a paddle board, and a surf ski as well as some fishing gear available for use. We also have a wooden dory (row boat) which you are welcome to use. Enjoy fishing and swimming off our jetty, or take a short walk to Bradley's Beach for a swim there. We are around a 10 minute walk from the local cafe, ferry wharf, bowling club and children's playground. If you feel like a bush walk, take a walk up to Kippara Park Reserve at the top of the island for expansive views of the Hawkesbury and unique Aboriginal rock engravings. There are many great spots to kayak to along the river including beaches, waterfalls and national park trails. Great NBN internet and smart TV with Netflix. We have chickens that live in a secure area in the upper garden but we can ask friends to take them if you would prefer not to have them. You are welcome to bring your dog, by negotiation. All dogs need to be on a lead when walking to protect the island’s unique wildlife. Available upon request: - Baby bjorn travel cot - Highchair - Baby toys and books
