Discover Benalla and North East Victoria while based at Jacaranda cottage. An easy 5 minutes to the Lake walk, Botanical Gardens and Art Gallery and 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the CBD shops. Our place is a 3BR, 2.5 bathroom home. Ground floor comprises main bedroom with King bed and walk in robe, separate bathroom, snug, with electric fire, split system and large double glazed windows overlooking the front garden. Open plan kitchen and dining with another living /sunroom overlooking the back garden, laundry and separate toilet. Covered back deck, with shady summer garden and fire pit. Upstairs there’s two more bedrooms - with queen beds and one includes my home office desk; a compact bathroom with shower and toilet. Lots of great options for trips to NE Vic including Beechworth, Bright, Rutherglen, the King Valley (Prosecco Road), the High Country of Mount Buller, Falls Creek and Mt Hotham. Train or drive to Melbourne (2 hrs) or Sydney (7hrs) or Canberra (4.5hrs)

Comments: We have a shy cat who would prefer to stay in her home - if you’d be ok to feed her that would be great. She has her own microchipped cat flap so no kitty litter to clean. Automatic feeders can be set up if you’re away for a night or two.

We have two studio apartments with separate entrances for tenants and have set up a deliveries box for couriers at the front door. Just being anything for us in and tenants will collect their own.
I would like help with plants or garden
Gardener comes once per month or more often in Spring. We have an automatic watering system but watering some pots and filling up birdbaths etc appreciated.

Comments: A car is always great to explore the area and we have unblemished driving records. We’ve been fortunate to be lent hosts cars through Trusted Housesitters when we have been added to their insurance policy. Or else we can hire one 😉
