This is a two and a half story semi-detached house renovated in 2016 with sound-barrier insulation into a modern open-area design but with heritage features such as original brick-work and three-floor stair banister. The second floor includes the main bedroom with queen bed and large sliding doors. Additionally there is the main bath, laundry, and den with patio door to the deck overlooking the secure back garden (which includes patio furniture and BBQ). The third floor is an open beam loft-type bedroom with its own on-suite toilet and shower. The house is located just below just Citadel Hill in Halifax and only a 20-25 minute walk to hospitals, Dalhousie, St. Mary's and King's Universities, water front, Irving ship yard and a block or two or less to new pubs, restaurants, and a french bakery. Previous long term renter references can be provided on request. Historically this home has rented primarily for the academic years with shorter periods in between the longer terms. Often those pleased with the home having rented for the short term have stayed for a year or longer.
