Perched on a bluff overlooking the mighty Mississippi River, this spacious, peaceful, fully furnished apartment is available for 9 month sub-lease during the school year, September through May. No storage space; bring only your clothing and personal items. Complete kitchen, large Great-Room, and two bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed. One full bath, and one half-bath. Also includes treadmill, workout bench, yoga mats, massage chair and outdoor hammock. There is garage parking for one car plus extra street parking. All utilities, including heating and air conditioning, are provided, but not Wi-Fi. If you choose not to have your own Wi-Fi installed, there are coffee shops in town with free Wi-Fi. This is a private, free-standing house divided into two apartments. Ours is at street-level; the other is downstairs. Ours has two outdoor decks, one with a view of the river and one with a view of the forest. We enjoy country living at its best, yet we’re close to town: 10 minute drive to hospital, clinics, shopping and lake-side hiking trails in Winona, MN; 30 minute drive to La Cross, WI; one hour drive to Rochester, MN and the Mayo Clinic. $1800/ month, plus 3 references, your own renters insurance, and security deposit.
