This would be a house-sharing arrangement with three other respectful residents, including two female tenants with advance degrees, both originally from China, and the owner. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the main floor, where the available room is located, and two bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor. The available room is the original master bedroom. Common areas include large living and dining rooms, kitchen (including breakfast/lunch nook), and a patio, as well as a basement which is used mainly for storage but also includes a washer and dryer, a work bench, and TV room. Bus stops for 2 major routes (49, 70) running between downtown and the University of Washington are a five-minute walk from the house. Residential parking permit is available if and when the garage and driveway are occupied. The UW and the tech hub at South Lake Union are within easy walking distance, a little over a mile away in opposite directions. The house is 200 meters from the shore of Lake Union (and the spot where Boeing built and launched its first aircraft, a seaplane, in 1909). and across the street from Rogers Park, which includes two tennis courts, as well as a baseball diamond and children's play area. The Eastlake neighborhood boasts a rapidly growing number of restaurants, coffee shops, and cafes. It is also home to one of Seattle's largest houseboat communities.
