Charming historical flat overlooking the Venetian rooftops

A bright, renovated apartment on the 4th floor (5th from the US perspective, no lift available) of a 17th-century building, with large spaces embellished by traditional wooden beams and Venetian floors. It offers a 360° view of the roofs and the domes of Venice from every room and in particular from the sunny living area. It is also equipped with a private terrace where you can have breakfast while enjoying a unique panorama, or an aperitif immersed in an unforgettable sunset. Perfectly finished and equipped with every comfort, it overlooks a quiet corner of the city: Fondamenta della Misericordia (in Cannaregio,the neighbourhood with the highest concentration of locals), in the historic center but still outside the great tourist flows. It is equipped with a living room with a Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave, two double bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom. Washing machine and iron also available; sheets and towels provided. The photo of the living room is a bit outdated: there is now a new, spacious sofa, and the kitchen is also new. A few steps from charming restaurants and public transport services (the S. Marcuola and Madonna dell'Orto water bus stops), the flat is located in the heart of Venice, between the train station and the well-known Rialto Bridge, reachable in 10 minutes on foot. It is therefore an excellent starting point to visit all the main tourist sites of the city and its lagoon. This flat is a perfect place for studying because it’s very bright and quiet, and the view of the Venetian rooftops is inspiring. When I was doing my PhD in Paris, I used to come here, far away the noise of the French capital, in order write my thesis and relax. You can study in the big living room (there are two tables), in the terrace, or in the small bedroom (the short table in the photo can be opened and became a bigger table). You can also use my printer. The apartment is available from November 2025 until the end of March 2026. It is not available before these dates.
