My apartment is ideally located for access to the University of Sydney, UTS, the RPA hospital or pretty much anything in the CBD. It is fully furnished and includes everything I could think of to make it comfortable because I use it myself when I'm teaching in Sydney. The apartment is located in the vibrant suburb of Annandale and is five minutes walk to the beautiful Blackwattle Bay Park and the Tramsheds (where you can find restaurants, cafés, and a supermarket). Just around the corner, Revolver café is a great place for coffee, breakfast, or lunch. Up the road in Annandale there are more cafés, two more supermarkets, some of the best fish and chips in Sydney, a chemist, and a range of other shops. You can walk to Sydney University in 25-30 minutes, cycle there in 15-20 minutes, or take public transport (which takes about the same time as walking). The apartment is a few minutes walk from the light rail line, which takes you to UTS and the central city. It's about 5 minutes up/down the road to various bus routes. If you have a car, the apartment has its own dedicated parking space, though it's often just as easy to use the free parking in the street. One of the highlights of the apartment is the balcony, which is not done justice by the photos here. It is incredibly peaceful and overlooks a large tree where parrots of various kinds and other native birds regularly feed. There is a desk and 'office style' chair in a corner of the bedroom if you need to work from home. High speed internet is included. The kitchen is well-equipped, with an oven, stovetop, microwave, fridge, Fisher & Paykel dishwasher drawer, and plenty of pots, pans, crockery, cleaning equipment etc. There is a Bosch washing machine laundry, a drying rack on the balcony, and you can find dryers in the very clean communal laundry on the ground floor of the building. The apartment has reverse-cycle AC to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. You don't need to leave the AC on all day; it will cool or warm the apartment quickly when you get home. (Note that the dishwasher, washing machine, and new AC unit are not shown in the photos as they were all recently installed.) An agent will manage the rental for me since I am out of the country.
