Hello! My husband and I live outside of Canada during the winter months, from January to April, to explore different cultures and learn new languages. Before starting my own interior design company, I worked at Wilfrid Laurier University. My father was also a professor at our local university, so I’m excited to host the local academic community in our home. What we love about our home: * It's located within walking distance to both Uptown Waterloo and Downtown Kitchener, making it easy to enjoy restaurants, parks, coffee shops, and charming boutiques. *The house is bright and sun-filled in every room, including an office with a desk overlooking a large window that faces the spacious, private backyard. * Our cozy basement has a large-screen TV and an L-shaped sofa, giving it a movie theater-like feel. * The house is also close to the light rail, which offers direct access to the local universities. It’s in a beautiful, family-oriented neighborhood, just steps away from one of the top K-8 schools in the region. * Our driveway fits one car, if 2 cars spaces is needed we can possibly accomodate, we would just need to know. * Bi-weekly cleaning is provided, along with high-speed internet and Netflix access. We would love to rent our home to a fellow cat lover. Our affectionate 12 year old cat, Romeo, is more like a dog in personality, he doesn't scratch or bite, and he simply loves cuddles and attention. He’s low maintenance with an automated feeder.
