Florence: Spacious and light-filled apartment close to historical center

Description

A spacious, light-filled two-bedroom apartment spread over two floors (connected through an internal staircase within the apartment) with a grand living room equipped with a dining area. A sliding door separates the living room form the library that is set up with a work space. The upper floor situated below the roof opens onto a small but lovely terrace equipped with a table and umbrella, and adorned by plants. The bedroom on the upper floor is set up with a queen-sized bed, and the bedroom on the lower room has a queen-sized sleeper sofa, which can be easily folded so that this room may also function as an office. Both beds are equipped with excellent, newish matteresses. The apartment includes a well appointed kitchen, two bathrooms and a guest toilet; on the upper floor it also has a spacious walk-in closet, and a chamber with washing machine and dryer. I live here with my partner, we are both academics and work out of home, so the apartment is equipped with flawless internet, and also a printer, and a computer screen free to use. Our apartment is located in a classical-style building close to the historical center of Florence, which can be reached on foot within 15 minutes. Just in front there is a tram that runs every 5 minutes and takes only 5 minutes to reach the main train station (Santa Maria Novella), where it connects to the tram to the airport, which takes only 15 minutes.
