3 pièces, central, clair, calme, belle terrasse, vue imprenable sur Paris !

Yolande's top floor apartment in the 13e was cozy and the southwest facing private garden terrace had a spectacular unobstructed sunset view of the Eiffel Tower to the left, Pantheon in the middle and Notre Dame to the right. The neighborhood, was quiet and Yolande welcoming and a helpful host. Nestled between the Jardin des Plantes and the Quartier chinoise, steps from the Grande mosquée it had all the essentials: several groceries, a day market, artisinal boulangeries, and excellent restaurants. I would highly recommend the local Les Chiffonniers. Bonus: 20 minute walk from BNF (Mitterrand) where you can apply for a Researcher pass, enabling access (a small fee) to the Researcher-only area and national archives. Merci beaucoup!

"In closing I need t say that you have lost the confidence one automatically advances in between colleagues with regards to simple veracity. You denied the intrusion in my absence, the moth infestation, the trouble with the frigidaire…; the garbage bin never arrived, ditto for duve cover. And now most importantly, there is this unpleasant money "matter."

This last refers to the fact that owner withheld 500+ euro of my depoisit.

I often come to Paris, often rent apartments. My experiences have been mixed (mostly with scholars independent / outside academia), but this was truly an exceptional case of aggressive dishonesty.
