Older children are welcome, but the flat is not "baby proofed" and we cannot have small children because of resulting noise for our downstairs neighbors. For visitors who enjoy the outdoors, there are wonderful neighborhood hill walks and excellent hiking in the city and just across the Golden Gate bridge within a 30 minute drive. $200 Cleaning fee. As it is a top floor apartment, there are stairs. Noe Valley is a safe, family friendly neighborhood with excellent transportation, close to downtown, wonderful shops, restaurants, and parks. We have a Saturday morning farmer's market, "parklets" to sit and enjoy a coffee, and are walking distance from the Mission district with street murals, local theatre and many shops and restaurants. It is also walking distance from the Castro district. With a quick bus, train or car ride, you can be at the waterfront, SFJazz, the symphony, opera, ballet and major museums, and hikes at the edge of the Pacific Ocean or across the Golden Gate Bridge. Close to Silicon Valley and many universities, including UC Berkeley and Stanford.
