Delightful family home with 4 bedrooms - one of which is an office space. A perfect place to write and research and it is within 20 minutes of the British Library and other central London locations. (We are 2 minutes from Kensal Green tube station). We are also very close to Portobello and Notting Hill Gate, but Queen's Park itself offers many charming amenities, not least a beautiful park and lovely cafes, shops and restaurants nearby. It is an especially quiet location, and it is decorated with elegance and style and many works of art. Our house is a well-proportioned academic house - with 2 bathrooms, and a utility room with a further extra downstairs utility room and gents. It is located on a quiet road, close to Kensal Green and also to Kensal Rise (which connects with Stratford and Richmond). We are 2 minutes from the Bakerloo line which takes you straight into central London (Paddington, Baker Street, Embankment etc). Lovely Queen's Park also has its own arty cinema (the Lexi), and we're within easy distance of all London universities - and getting to Oxford and Cambridge could not be easier. Our home is a three storey, original Victorian house built in 1899, with many original features, such as fireplaces (one of which is a gas fire in the kitchen). We renovated the house to a high standard, with new heating and plumbing throughout. There is a large living room, library and kitchen. The house is well suited for children. It is equipped with fast broadband and wifi, desk and printers. And we have obviously a washing machine and all kitchen equipments. Other guests have loved the house and the neighbourhood, and we often have academic friends from many parts of the world coming to stay. The house is ready to rent as a whole - although we would keep one room for storage - unless you specifically wanted a fourth bedroom. Otherwise there are two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite bathroom), and a single bedroom.
