Brussels city center: combine good work w. rich cultural life

Brussels, with its historical city-center where the apt is located, is a charmy place of cultural and social life, numerous parks, fancy restaurants, easy access to all Belgian Universities within Brussels (metro) or the country (20-50 min by train), and visit, even in one-day trips, of other great European cities (Paris, London, Amsterdam, Cologne …). And YET, the apt is located in an incredibly quiet neighborhood making it an ideal place to work for your sabbatical or postdoc. It is a modern apt in a well-designed new residence (built in 2023) of low energy consumption, spacious, fully furnished and equipped, w. a south facing balcony, ideal for one person, max. a couple. It is 6 min walk from two central metro and many tram/bus stations, 10 min walk from Brussels-Central train station (then 17 min to airport), 3 min walk to shops and shopping-center, and 6-15 min walk/metro from all places to be and visit (exhibitions, concerts, performances, cycling routes, entertainment) or take a coffee while writing your next article/book. Having myself a solid international experience (born in Athens, researcher and professor for > 25 years in Belgium, w. a postdoc and two sabbaticals in Virginia, Arizona, and New York), I live close and can be an owner easy to join and helpful.
