Hi, I'm Kate. I'm a copywriter/brand strategist turned screenwriter, heading to London to study and 'break in'. My husband John, a video producer, is coming with me on this grown up gap year. We'd love to find like-minded tenants to enjoy our beautiful, quirky home as much as we've done. Whether or not you're 'creative' as a job, you'll feel regularly inspired living here, and wake every morning feeling happy. While it's not suitable for little ones, older kids (aged 6+) love our Hobbit castle too. We like mid-century modern design, and will be leaving the house furnished (with appliances) so if you share this design aesthetic, it's a great choice. We have a very reliable hatchback, and would consider adding that to the tenancy if needed, otherwise we have storage for it elsewhere. It's a beautiful home in all seasons. There's an open fire, a Japanese style hot tub, and two new heat pumps installed for extra cosiness in winter, and these switch to air con in summer. There are also extensive decks to make the most of both sun and shade.
