We are an artist /composer couple seeking a couple or small family to enjoy staying in our spacious bungalow while we are overseas. The house features two double bedrooms with comfortable queen-sized beds with wardrobes. A large cook's kitchen with great counter space, a double oven and dish washer. French doors lead out to a wide covered veranda with seating, verdant garden and additional toilet and laundry room. Newly renovated traditional bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower. The house has central heating. We are situated on a central street across from a convenience store and Grey Lynn park which offers a playground and many pathways which connect with other green spaces leading to the coast, a fifteen minute stroll. Walking distance to the cafes, bakeries, restaurants, markets and shops of Ponsonby Rd. There is a great local farmers market on Sundays. Off street parking for one car. There is a bus stop across the street. Downtown is a 15 minute walk. Grey Lynn is a vibrant sought-after inner-city suburb with a friendly and diverse community. Popular beaches such as Point Chevalier and Herne Bay are a short drive away. We are 25 mins to Auckland Airport. Our son lives locally and is on hand to share local spots and give advice. Garden will be maintained at our expense. We have an excellent regular cleaner available for an extra fee.
