I'm so happy I managed a ground floor unit. As noted minimum of 3 months but longer is better. After the first 3 months, rent is reduced by $100 each month. My return/use date is flexible. Latest though would be January 6, 2027. Okay, I am not in the teaching profession in anyway, but I have learned that Sabbatical Homes is a good venue to share my special accommodations. And Patriot Square is a great place to call home. There is many a teaching institution in the surrounding St Petersburg area. There is a variety of relaxation opportunities with bike riding trails (one bike provided), parks and green spaces galore. No end of outdoor markets and entertainment possibilities. Good choice of restaurants near (HAE is fresh fish and the Tiki Bar is just a short walk). No designated driver required. Downtown has a delicious and fun variety of eateries. Water, water everywhere and the Pier is truly spectacular. World-class museums clustered around Central Street in St Petersburg. Or layback and relax in the condo. One pool is just outside the backdoor, another not far from the front door. Great neighbors ready to be friendly or leave you to your privacy. Upstairs unit usually empty from May to November. I cannot say how perfect this setting is. Did I mention Gulfport is nearby? Oh and Mazarros is a must experience Italian Deli extraordinaire. And if the weather misbehaves the Governor says to think in 10s of miles not hundreds. Just figure out ahead of time which sanctuary you'd choose in a storm. I live in Oregon. Visited St Petersburg and fell in love with what it has to offer for an amazing lifestyle. Then I was introduced to Patriot Square 55 Plus condos. This place is a luscious green hidden gem somewhat buffered from all the new, squeezed in, concrete construction. I purchased in January 2024. Replaced furnishings and had new wood plank flooring installed. Also had the interior repainted and new cabinetry installed. New King bed, mattress and linens. I need to return to Oregon each summer/fall. I'll be leaving plenty of general supplies. I want you to feel so comfortable that you'll consider returning in 2027. Paul, my amazing handyman lives nearby. I'm so looking forward to sharing my 2nd home. I have yet to purchase a car so I'm getting familiar with the Bus system.
