We are a family of artists and builders. We designed and renovated the apartment for us and raised our kids here. We loved the area but most of the kids have moved out and we will leave for Hongkong for at least 2 years, (maybe 4 or more). The photos show how it looks now. Our belongings will be stored and we can change the room to your needs. Bunk beds can be taken out as well as funiture and we can organize all furniture as you like. The price includes all costs. The apartment is situated near a park with a library, a cafe, goats and a birdcage. Behind the park is a litte childrens farm. Our apartment of 126qm has a hughe open kitchen 4 rooms and a bathroom with shower and a bath tub. The 2 smaller rooms are equipped with bunkbeds but that can be changed. The bigger rooms can be connect with a connecting door. Right now they are separated. One room could be a livingroom and office the other one a bedroom. We would like to plan that with you. If you come as a single parent with kids you will have different needs than a couple with or without kids. Pankow is a green and safe part of the city but it is still urban. Right next to our apartment is the Bürgerpark. Behind the park is the childrens zoo and a forest. The arrea has a high standard of living. The park is safe. Kids can be independent and visit the youthclub or hang out in the park. During the day the park is a home for the joggers and families and when it gets dark the youth hangs out there. It is fun and safe. So if you have a teenager with you, it is fun for him/her here, too. You can reach any part of the city fast. There are great bike lanes on a river into the city to the Hauptbahnhof or even further.
