It is a wonderful area to stay, extremely friendly people, close to many parks including two of the most beautiful in London - Bushy Park and Richmond Park and Hampton Court. Bushy park is a 15 min walk and if you enjoy activities, Hampton Pool, an all year round heated open air swimming pool is close by. The train station is a 2 min walk and takes you straight into London Waterloo and Kingston - a wonderful university town.
