We adore our 100-year-old Craftsman four-square in South Minneapolis. Currently set-up as a two-bedroom with dedicated office space, this home is full of light, plant life, and personal touches. The open and spacious dining and living area are perfect for evening meals, reading, and relaxation. A record player adds to the ambiance. A retractable screen and projector set-up allow for TV-free space AND movie nights. Upstairs you will find a California King in the primary bedroom, a double bed in the guest bedroom, a standing clawfoot tub in the bathroom, and extra vanity with sink off of the office. The two-season front porch offers views of the pocket prairie (bursting with Minnesota native plants). The back patio is shaded by two oak trees and the gardens are full of veggies, flowers, raspberries, and herbs. Our home is walkable to coffee shops (including Dogwood and Milkweed), restaurants (Sonora Grill, Midori's Floating World Cafe, Bungalow Club, Hi-Low Diner, Habanero's and more), a local grocery store (Longfellow Market), and shops (Frattalone's Hardware, Bud Plant Supply, Walgreens, and Corazon Cards and Gifts). We are a safe bike ride to both UMN campuses and several other colleges and universities in the metro area. Just a block from Lake Street, we are a ~1 minute walk to a bus stop, providing easy public transit to UMN and other campuses.
