Dream House in the Black Forest

This old farmhouse is one of the most beautiful houses in the entire Black Forest with a unique location- completely untouched, secluded and quiet. Its location allows you to visit France and Switzerland relatively quickly- in fact, Basel University is the closest university. A car is a must, but you can hike, bike, swim and ski. Badenweiler with its famous Roman hot springs and spa treatments is 20 minutes away, and Eutopia, the new anthroposophic center in Schopfheim, is about ten minutes away. The weekend markets in every small town in the area are legendary, slow food and locavore are our ways of life, and the 300-year old mill in Wieslet, 5 minutes away, makes the best farmers bread in the country. Basel and Zurich airports are closest, Basel 40 minutes and Zurich about an hour away. The house is beautifully and comfortably appointed, with an amazing kitchen and dining room and two beautiful bedrooms each with their own bathroom. There is a half bathroom next to the kitchen. I live in New York City, and for me, there is no better place to really recharge and relax than my beautiful country house. It is fully designed to accommodate an international traveler's taste and demands.
