Lovely, bright apartment on an old cobblestone courtyard in the Latin Quarter, just a block from the the Jardin du Luxembourg and the RER B, available for the academic year. Convenient to the Ecole Normale Supérieure, EHESS, the Institut Curie, the Sorbonne, and Sciences Po; and via the RER B, to Paris-Saclay. A spacious 45m2, it has one bedroom (double bed), a living room with pull-out sofa (queen), separate kitchen (for serious cooks, with plenty of counter space), a full-sized bathroom, and all appliances (including a dishwasher, washer, dryer, and air conditioner). We just bought this apartment and it is newly painted and fully furnished. Excellent food shopping (primeur, caviste, marché) and restaurants are close by, including Montparnasse a few minutes by foot. The Luxembourg Gardens are 300m away, and yet our courtyard-side apartment is so quiet the main thing you hear are birds singing in the 18th c. cobbled courtyard. It is a walk-up (2ème étage/3rd floor US). The RER B is direct to CDG as well as Paris-Saclay, there's bicycle parking in the courtyard, Velib stations are close by, and we are a block from the principal bus routes. We have a highly efficient portable AC unit in case of a hot spell. We are academics and love this building and neighborhood, where we have lived every summer and some years for more than 20 years.
