My apartment is arranged as one large and bright space organized on two floors, with an ancient ceiling of XVI century wooden beams and a refined iroko wooden floor. Most of the windows and the romantic terrace are overlooking the famous piazza del Fico, a few meters from piazza Navona. From the entrance, through a short hallway with natural light, you enter the bright , elegant and comfortable large living room equipped with a big sofa that converts into a comfortable double sofa bed, two armchairs, flat screen tv, air conditioning and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen is right beside the dining area . The terrace, furnished with comfortable table and chairs, overlooks the small , lively and vibrant Fico's square and the domes of the churches of St. Agnes in Agone in Piazza Navona, the Chiesa Nuova in Corso Vittorio Emanuele and the rooftops of many ancient palaces in the heart of Rome. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with a shower and a closet for the washer machine and the boiler (hot water and heating). On the upper floor there is the sleeping area : furnished with a library-style naval structure with many drawers you will find a double bed (queen size) and a single bed on the other side of the floor with an en-suite bathroom with a large window overlooking the Roman skyline . There are many spacious wardrobes. This part of the house receives light also from a small window on the roof which offers a fascinating view of the ancient Rome and the famous church of Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza and S.Agnese in piazza Navona. Nearby you will find the best restaurants and the best pizzerias and ice cream parlors and walking from your door you will be near to all the most interesting places in Rome with pleasant and short walks. You can have breakfast in the comfort of your home or in the nearby just restored Caffé della Pace, once meeting point for artists and intellectuals from all over the world, or at the famous Bar del Fico just out of your door, then walk to Piazza Navona, to the Pantheon, to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, in the morning make shopping at Campo de Fiori's food market, walking along the Tiber and easily reach Trastevere, the Vatican City with the Basilica of Saint Peter, Castel Sant'Angelo and the Vatican Museums. You can eat in a typical Roman hosteria on your way to Spanish steps and in the afternoon you can visit the Roman and Imperial Fori, the Palatine with Romolus and Remo's and Augustus's mansions or the Colosseum, emperor Nerone's Domus Aurea but also walk to the green heart of Villa Borghese visiting the Borghese Gallery…
