Our guest rooms welcomes you in the heart of the village of Saint-Jean-de-Thouars, quiet in a park of two hectares. On the borders of Poitou and Anjou, they are ideally located in the center of the triangle formed by the cities of Tours, Poitiers and Angers, about thirty kilometers from Saumur, a high light for the French cavalry. From the house you can have a trip to the Chateaux de la Loire, starting with Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, Saumur, Montsoreau, Brissac, Montgeoffroy and many others. And also visit typical churches and abbeys of Poitou-Charente: Fontevrault, Saint Médard and Saint Laon in Thouars, the abbatiales of Airvault and Saint Jouin de Marnes, or even the chapel of Noizé. The castle of Oiron which belonged to Madame de Montespan, with its exceptional 17th century decorations and contemporary art collections is not to be missed, as well as the small museum Henri Barré in Thouars and the cellars of the wine producers of Saumur.
