Your warm place for winter: a family appartement in Montmartre, Paris

Our comfortable family appartement in a traditional Haussmannian building from 1900, located on the 3rd floor, has an ample and bright living-room (including a sofa bed and a Seiler piano), a dining room (seats 6-8 people max.) with a fireplace, and a little kitchen well equipped (induction hobs, oven, dishwasher, Italian coffee percolator, Thermomix, etc.). The flat is fully furnished with design and vintage mix and match. There are 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 large bedroom with a single bed and a small double bed 120 cm on a mezzanine) and also an extra bedroom space next to the dining room, possibly isolated (suitable for one people). We have 2 brand new bathrooms (one with a washer and dryer shelve) and also separated toilet/powder room. You will enjoy High speed internet, new smart TV, air printer and amp with 2 powerful vintage speakers. Heat, hot water and electricity are included. So we live in the wonderful and convenient Montmartre location: our building is on a beautiful tree-lined street and offers a view on a tree island (on one of the 3 little balconies, you can sit and have a drink in the sun;-) We love our home and have made many modifications to improve it recently. It is perfect for families or a couple who appreciate the convenience of a typical and friendly neighborhood. If you have kids, there are numerous schools options (primary, secondary and high school) within walking distance, as the Moulin Rouge (1 min), several famous artists studios (Renoir, Picasso, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec...), an art center dedicated to photography and another to contemporary art, cinemas, theaters, public pool and libraries, railway stations... Close to many parks, restaurants, shopping (classical and creative ones), grocery stores, natural health foods, and much more. There is a variety of good restaurants offering French, Italian, Korean, Japanese and other cuisines. There are 3 metro lines (12, 2, 13) 2 min walk, several bus lines, Vélib station and bike path at the foot of the building, We are 5 min by metro from St Lazare (15 by walking) and about 20 min from the Louvre. Close to all Universities (Paris-Cité, Sorbonne, etc.) and several hospitals. About the hosts: We are a family with 3 children (2 are young adults and one just turned 13) living in Montmarte, in Paris! Daniel is a Medicine Doctor (teaching in Université Paris-Cité) and Aurélie is an independent art critic and curator. We are both born in Paris so we can share many tips to visit places of interest, museums, art centers and discover unusual or secret spots in the city and all around! We are found of music so we can also give some good advice about different kinds of concert places and other cultural or fooding tips (there are plenty of nice pubs, cafés, brunch places and restaurants next to our building), etc. So, we will make sure you feel quite welcome and have a joyful, comfortable and memorable stay at our place.
