This is a peaceful place, a place to restore and revitalise. After decades of international consultancy I am now settling into permaculture and regenerative agriculture here in the Perigord Regional Natural Park. My house has been restored to high ecological values and the garden is producing food, aromatic and medicinal plants. I can share this on an intermittent basis with paying guests who are autonomous, interesting, engaged, curious and who may simply need space to think. Come and refocus: This renovated old farmhouse and its regenerative and grounded land will welcome you in the heart of the Périgord Regional Natural Park. Carefully renovated to high ecological standards, this house and its adjoining original stone barn have been converted into a natural and regenerative welcome center. The house is part of a remote hamlet of three residences, housing extensive knowledge and practices in agroecology and permaculture, aromatic and medicinal plants, teaching in ecology and earth sciences, and organic beekeeping. You will benefit from all the positive energies to emerge feeling peaceful and revitalized. Meadows, orchards, perennial vegetable gardens, ponds, coppices, and aromatic and medicinal plants—everything to immerse you and reconnect with the living and productive earth. Respect for the place and the rights of living things is encouraged. Bed and breakfast (breakfast) or independent accommodation, depending on your requirements and duration of stay. Shower, rest room, refrigerator available, barbecue, terrace, dry toilets, wastewater treatment using phytopurification, solar energy, and a cul-de-sac. A Finnish sauna session in the old bread oven, yoga, and relaxation massage are available as options (subject to availability). If you're tempted by a short trip from this peaceful setting, the Grande Boucle du Parc Naturel Régional (PNR) and its pilgrimage trails pass right in front of the house. The village café-grocery store Lu Chamçac is a 20-minute walk away, the Saint Mathieu pleasure lake is a 20-minute drive (or 1.5 hours by bike), and the Reynaudiers karting track is 10 minutes away. Near Chalus (Richard the Lionheart castle), Rochechouart (Castle-Museum of Contemporary Art), Cassinomagus Roman site, Perigueux, Confolens, Limoges nearby.
