The unit is not air conditioned but even the summer nights cool off, and it is on the third floor with no elevator. There are shops (including a supermarket) and restaurants in the area and not far from major shopping at Dartmouth Crossing where most of the major box stores are located, including Costco, Ikea, Walmart, Canadian Tire, etc..
