We are two working professionals who live on-site. The home is located in a peaceful neighborhood in the hills, approximately 2 miles from Andronico’s and Safeway grocery stores, and about 1 mile from Tilden Park. Walking distance to LBL/MSRI. Bus access is nearby, but having a car or reliable transportation is recommended for errands and shopping. The neighborhood is safe, and security cameras are installed and monitored for added peace of mind. Ideal Tenant Profile: We are looking for a single occupant who will appreciate and contribute to a quiet, respectful living environment. Successful previous tenants have typically: Maintained a strong focus on work or studies Had reliable transportation (car or other dependable means) Been comfortable with a home accessed by two flights of stairs Lived independently, kept the space tidy, and respected shared areas Rental Terms and Requirements: To ensure a good fit and smooth tenancy, applicants must be able to: Provide valid government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport) Demonstrate financial ability to pay rent through credit score, bank statements, or a co-signer Provide three professional or academic references (e.g., professors, supervisors) with contact information Agree to sign a standard California residential lease and related documents (contingent on first agreeing to & passing standard credit & background check by landlord) Agree to Lease Term 9-month/academic or 1-year Adhere to a no-pets and no-smoking/vaping/substance policy Agree to no subleasing Agree to maintain the cleanliness of their own rooms, private bathroom & shared spaces to ensure a comfortable living environment for everyone.
