My husband and I are academics in the field of management. I am a professor at HEC Montréal in the field of collective enterprise management and social innovation. My husband is an international consultant in collective enterprise development in the areas of health and community housing and shares his experiences in an academic setting. We both have many professional relationships with international collaborators. We also lived in France for a year as part of a research stay. We therefore understand very well the expectations, challenges, and excitement of building a life in a new environment. We are committed to providing a comfortable and quiet apartment in a vibrant neighborhood that is characteristic of our beautiful city of Montreal. Renting this apartment is a great opportunity for us to meet new people and share professional and cultural experiences. A historian by training, my husband never misses an opportunity to share his passion for Quebec history. For my part, I am an avid follower of Montreal's cultural life. We have lived in Montreal all our lives and know the neighborhoods and their attractions. We also love to travel around Quebec to discover the history, cultures, and cuisine of its regions. We are always happy to share with our international guests our love and favorite spots in both the vibrant, green, and multi-ethnic North American city of Montreal and our beautiful province, which offers a variety of experiences. The apartment is located in a two-unit building (duplex) with a private entrance. The apartment is on the second floor. It has a living area, a full bathroom, and a bedroom in addition to a large entry hall that can accomodate an office. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated with care to preserve the character of the houses in this old neighborhood in downtown Montreal. Although we do not live in this building, we are particularly fond of it and take great care of it. The appartment has always been occupied by the owners and has never been rented out on a short-term basis. It is therefore in excellent condition and is equipped with quality furniture and furnishings is in excellent condition. The garden is very green but requires no special maintenance. We would be happy to welcome a non-smoking couple. We want the occupants to take care of the place as we would ourselves. It is also important to us that our very quiet neighbors be respected and can continue to enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
