I am a single 39 year old female looking for professionals (male or female) who are clean and respectful of the space. I bought this house a few months ago with the hope of having roommates with similar interests who enjoy sharing a space and building community with others. I am a musician (singer) and I direct choirs and teach voice lessons at a University nearby. I may work from home a few days a week, depending on my schedule. I enjoy running, biking, checking out new breweries (of which there are MANY in this area!), going to concerts, volunteering, and basically just being outside as much as possible. I am a social person and will occasionally have people over for drinks or dinner parties, which you are welcome to join! You can also have people over whenever you like, and we’ll make sure we communicate that to one another. If you are a musician, you can use the office with a full piano keyboard to compose, practice, or even teach lessons. The North Minneapolis neighborhood of Webber Camden definitely sees some activity in terms of crime, but it is also a thriving, vibrant community where neighbors make a point to get to know each other. I have never had any issues, and the neighbors on all sides of my house are really wonderful people. I love to garden, and the backyard has ample room for gardening opportunities. It is currently a work in progress, but I will hopefully have some landscaping finished up by the end of summer! There is a large back yard, grill, and fire pit for entertaining. Things are still a bit of a work in progress since I just moved in, but I am making improvements to the house every day and it should have new additions (string lights hung on the porches, ceiling fans installed, boxes in office unpacked) by the end of August. I value honesty, openness, and clear communication. Shared spaces need to be kept clean, dishes washed, etc. I am a very communicative and friendly person and I really love getting to know new people! Rooms are available immediately.
