Hi there. I'm subletting my flat for the spring term (potential for longer rental after). The flat is a spacious, sunny, and well-equipped 3BR in an Altbau (built around 1900) with high ceilings (circa 3.50m) and a balcony. It's perfect for couples or individuals. Fully furnished, wooden floors, double bed and bedroom to the back (quiet), fully equipped office with desk for two people, and a large living room with table, sofa etc pp. The area is - without exaggeration - among the coolest in the city. Restaurants, Galleries, Shops, Bars, everything you might want. The flat is in walking distance to U7 and U8 subways stops, a bus to Mitte stops one block away and the S Bahn is also pretty close. To Mitte, it's a 20min bike or 25 min bus or subway ride. Especially Humboldt, Hertie, and Charite (generally everything in Mitte) is a super easy commute. Neukölln/Kreuzberg is a diverse neigbourhood and there's always something going on. So if you look for something entirely tranquil and detached, maybe go for something a bit further out. Otherwise, it's really a wonderful, fun, and exciting place to live and I've always loved it (esp. the food & cultural options in the area are second to none).
