Large House in Trumansburg Village

Hello, we are looking for a family or a group of individuals to rent our house. The house is large, bright, airy, and in an excellent location. We hope you’ll enjoy your stay here, with starting availability November 1st, 2025, going through the end of the 2025-2026 academic year, with an option to extend your stay as well. We will be traveling abroad and within the US during this time, and while we are away, there will be an on-call professional for any maintenance needs. Many professors and staff from local colleges and universities live in Trumansburg and commute to Cornell, Hobart William Smith, Ithaca College, and many more. There is public transportation connecting Trumansburg Village with Ithaca, Cornell, and the local hospital. The house is also walkable to the excellent schools in the village, along with several community nursery schools. There are playgrounds, trails, cafes, restaurants, and shops to enjoy, and also plenty of tranquility. The house can be furnished or unfurnished, your choice, and if you’d like, we can customize which furniture is in the house and which pieces we move into storage. There are three full beds, a king size bed, table, sofas, bookshelves, rugs, etc. and bedroom has a large closet. There is plenty of space for a large family or a group of individuals to have privacy within the home. Front, back, and side porches are covered and there is even a ping-pong table to enjoy on the side porch. Dogs are allowed on a case by case basis because the house is furnished. We do not want any dogs that chew on furniture or scratch on doors or doorframes, but lower-energy dogs who are not prone to these behaviors are okay with us. The floors are old hardwood and already have plenty of scratches in them, so we will not be too worried about a few more from your otherwise well-behaved dog. We would prefer to not have cats in the house, thank you for understanding. As mentioned elsewhere in the listing, the house is available for the 25-26 academic year, but there may be an option to continue your stay longer; we will know more about our future plans relatively soon, and we can be in touch about an extension of your time if you are interested.
