I am an associate professor at Monash University, Malaysia . I am subletting my apartment in Suasana Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, for the period December 1, 2026 until May 30, 2026 or for part of that period. I will be on sabbatic al leave in France at that time. I am looking for an academic, PhD student, or a trusted person who will be in KL at that time. The amount of rent is 750 usd/month. It is a nice, quiet, safe & bright two-bedroom/two-bathroom 1000sq feet apartment with a parking spot, view onto Malaya university and the mid-valley mega-mall. The fully furnished apartment has superb A/C units, a kitchen and washer-dryer and all utilities (electricity, gas, water, wifi) are covered by myself. Suasana Bangsar is a medium-size residential highrise built on a small hill, which provides a breeze, good open views, has a gym and swimming pool with trees. At the same time, it is walking distance to the LRT (Abdullah Hukum), to local restaurants and bars (amongst others, APW and Bangsar village I and II) grocery stores, bookstores, fashion, hawkers etc. as well as the Kebun Kebun community garden for a respite in the green.
